Cooperation with Societe Generale for Issuing RMB Debit Cards 

On August 25, Societe Generale China issued UnionPay RMB debit cards in Beijing to serve its Chinese retail banking customers.

The value-added insurance services for the cardholders are provided by Winterthur Insurance
(Asia) Ltd. Shanghai Branch (a member of AXA group), which covers Card Mis-use, Personal Accident, Travel and Golf Package.
As a strategy partner of Societe Generale China, AXA worked closely with the bank for 6 months to design the insurance protection plans, in order to match with the different needs of the cardholders in selected segments. The joint efforts of the two strong partners in Insurance and Banking will bring high quality and differentiated service experience to their valuable clients in China.

Raymond Chan, CEO of Winterthur joined the issuing celebration and reached a broader agreement with Zhang Yongguang, CEO of Societe Generale China, to co-develop the business opportunities in China by providing excellent products and services to customers.
